Question 1

How does a professional photo session in Geneva work?

Accepted Answer

A photo session with A Photographie is carefully planned in several stages. We start with a phone call or email exchange to understand your specific needs: project type (portrait, food, corporate), desired atmosphere and objectives. On the day, I welcome you to my studio in Geneva or travel to your preferred location. I guide you throughout the session for natural and authentic poses. Photos are then professionally retouched and delivered within 2 to 3 weeks via a secure private gallery.

Question 2

Which regions in Switzerland do you cover?

Accepted Answer

Based in Geneva, I work throughout French-speaking Switzerland: Lausanne, Neuchâtel, Fribourg, Montreux, Vevey and surrounding areas. I also regularly travel to nearby France, including Annecy, Thonon-les-Bains, Évian and as far as Lyon for larger projects. Travel costs are included within a 30km radius of Geneva; beyond that, a supplement is calculated based on distance.

Question 3

What is the delivery time for retouched photos?

Accepted Answer

The standard delivery time is 2 to 3 weeks after the photo session. This allows me to select the best images and carry out careful professional retouching (colour grading, exposure, light beauty retouching) while preserving a natural look. For urgent projects (product launch, press event), I offer an express delivery option within 48 to 72 hours for a surcharge.

Question 4

Can I use the photos for my social media and website?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! All delivered photos automatically include usage rights for your digital communications: website, social media (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn), newsletters and online marketing materials. For extended commercial use (advertising campaigns, billboards, press), a specific licence can be negotiated. I also provide photos in different formats optimized for each platform.

Question 5

How do I book a photo session with you?

Accepted Answer

Booking a session is quick and easy. You can contact me via the form above, by email or by phone. I usually respond within 24 to 48 hours. We agree on a date and time slot together. A 30% deposit confirms the booking. You will then receive a detailed summary with all practical information for the day.

Question 6

Do you offer studio or outdoor photo sessions?

Accepted Answer

I offer both options depending on your preferences and project needs. My Geneva studio is ideal for corporate portraits, product packshots and food photography thanks to controlled professional lighting. Outdoor sessions offer varied natural settings: Geneva streets, Lake Geneva shores, parks or directly at your business premises to capture the authenticity of your working environment.

Question 7

How many photos are delivered after a session?

Accepted Answer

The number of delivered photos depends on the type of service. For an individual portrait, expect between 15 and 25 retouched photos. A food shoot can include 20 to 40 images depending on the number of dishes. For event coverage, I generally deliver between 50 and 150 selected and retouched photos. Each package is detailed in the personalized quote I provide before the session.

Question 8

What types of photography do you offer?

Accepted Answer

I specialize in several areas of professional photography in Geneva: food photography for restaurants and food brands, corporate and personal portraits, product photography and e-commerce packshots, interior and real estate architecture, as well as event coverage. This versatility allows me to support businesses and individuals in all their visual needs.

Question 9

How can I best prepare for my photo session?

Accepted Answer

For a portrait session, I advise choosing simple and timeless outfits, avoiding busy patterns and favouring solid colours. Rest the night before and stay well hydrated. For a food session, plan fresh dishes prepared on the day and decoration elements consistent with your brand identity. I systematically send a detailed preparation guide one week before the session to help you prepare as well as possible.
