Angélique Freytag - Professional photographer in Geneva

I am Angélique, a freelance photographer based in Geneva. Before making photography the core of my work, I spent more than 15 years in marketing and media, a background that taught me to think about an image in its communication context, not only at the moment it is taken.

I have also developed several entrepreneurial and event projects in Geneva around fashion, independent designers and public gatherings. For four years, I created and ran La Baladeuse, a concept store in Plainpalais. I was also involved in events and pop-ups including Gliss’en Ville, Les Mondaines and Nomad Market.

Today, this combined experience informs my work as a photographer. I work with companies, brands, institutions and private clients across portrait, fashion, events, food, product and architecture.

Every project starts with a precise discussion about context, intended uses and the people involved. My aim is to produce images that are accurate, coherent and easy to use, with a discreet presence and direction adapted to each person and situation.
